So culminates the curatorial project Adrenalina meets Casa Museo Remo Brindisi, which was officially presented at the Fuorisalone in Milan last April. Under the skilful direction of Studio Debonademo and in close collaboration with Valentina Bigiarini, Adrenalina in 2023 has recently undertaken a curatorial and cultural endeavour parallel to its usual one linked to the world of design and market dynamics.

The journey of philological research within the House and its archives culminates with two precious tapestries that were custom made by Arazzeria Pennese in the 1980s from designs by the artist. The weave, which ties together the woolen threads of the tapestries, becomes a symbol of the encounter between Adrenalina and Remo Brindisi, to be translated into the textile weave upholstering two seats intended to pay homage to the creativity of the artist. Unique pieces exactly like the tapestries, they are objects of desire that seal each stage of this osmosis between design and the artistry of Remo Brindisi.

“Adrenalina Incontra” (Adrenalina meets) identifies the will to promote and stimulate the wonder of the only seemingly improbable exchange between art and design, places and people of various natures”, say the designers. The encounter with the Casa Museo Remo Brindisi takes place in two phases: in the first, the brand is stripped of the colour that had previously characterised it, to show that good design is first and foremost a sign and a shape; in the second, it is dressed in the colours and features of the Maestro, taken from two tapestries on display at the Casa Museo. The iconography of Remo Brindisi’s tapestries, through digital reproduction technology, becomes a series of patterns that invades the horizontal surfaces of the platforms and covers two armchair and a sofa. An unprecedented sense of Total Look where each piece of furniture co-stars on the scene and capable of encapsulating all the phases of the story told so far, a symbol of a new aesthetic trend of which Adrenalina becomes the interpreter, with the desire to return to the public the vibrant energy of a man who firmly believed in the interdisciplinary nature of art, architecture and design.
