ADRENALINA MEETS CASA MUSEO REMO BRINDISI
A 2024 curatorial project in collaboration with

Casa Museo Remo Brindisi – Lido di Spina
Curated by Debonademeo Studio and Valentina Bigiarini

The essence of form.
Adrenalina encounters Casa Museo Remo Brindisi at a point in its creative journey when the brand chooses to strip away colour—an element that has always been central to its identity—and turn its attention back to the essence of design: line, volume and construction.

This encounter marks the beginning of ADRENALINA INCONTRA, the curatorial programme launched in 2024 through which the brand explores the dialogue between design, art, places and people, seeking unexpected connections and new forms of expression.

Designed by Nanda Vigo in Lido di Spina, Casa Museo Remo Brindisi provides a natural setting for this encounter. Conceived by Remo Brindisi not simply as a museum, but as a place to be lived in and shared, the house brings together art, architecture and everyday life in a single Gesamtkunstwerk. An open, vibrant space inhabited over time by artworks, artists, friends and visitors.

Within its all-white architecture, Adrenalina’s iconic pieces appear in pure white. Stripped of all chromatic contrast, they blend into the luminous interiors, allowing the strength of their forms to emerge while establishing a silent dialogue with the Master’s works.

Human figures, transformed into dark silhouettes, move through the space with almost performative gestures. Their movements follow the geometries of the architecture and the contours of the furniture, restoring the lived dimension Brindisi envisioned for the house: a theatre of humanity in which beauty and creativity come to life through encounter.

The language of colour.
Research in the Casa Museo archives led to the rediscovery of two precious tapestries created in the 1980s by Arazzeria Pennese from designs by Remo Brindisi. Their textures and vibrant compositions became the starting point for the project’s second chapter.

Through digital reproduction, the tapestries’ imagery is transformed into patterns that spread across the surfaces of Adrenalina’s seating, giving rise to unique pieces. Having stripped away colour to reveal the strength of form, the brand now embraces the Master’s distinctive lines and palette.

Art and design enter into a new symbiosis, reviving the energy of an artist who always believed in dialogue across disciplines. This second chapter of the project was presented in Naples in October 2024 at EDIT Napoli.
