Bar Adrenalina is not a space to observe, but to experience. A bar design project conceived as an immersive environment, where visitors are not spectators but active participants in an evolving process. Originally created for Milan Design Week 2026, Bar Adrenalina transformed Boccascena Caffè, inside Palazzo Litta, into a fully operational bar design installation under the art direction of Debonademeo Studio. A real bar, reimagined as a space where design meets its most authentic condition: everyday use. Today, the experience continues. Bar Adrenalina remains open until the end of July, Monday to Friday, from 10 AM to 8 PM. Here, Adrenalina collections are not displayed, but lived. Sofas and armchairs define the space, inviting people to sit, work, meet and relax. Designed for contract interiors and contemporary bar design environments, these pieces reveal their comfort, adaptability and identity through real use. But there is something you cannot see. During Design Week, interactions within the space—voices, movements, presences—were captured through a network of microphones and transformed into a sound archive. Sound becomes a design material. From these frequencies, two outcomes emerge: an original music composition and the development of a new Adrenalina sofa, generated from the collective energy of the space.

The project continues through the work of Michele Spanghero, sound and visual artist, who expands his research on listening by transforming sound recordings into new design outputs. Bar Adrenalina is an open laboratory. A place where bar design, sofas, armchairs and human interaction converge. Where design is not only form, but relationship, energy and process—continuously shaped by those who inhabit it.
