The curatorial co-design project with blind and visually impaired individuals arrives in Bologna.

On the occasion of BOLD – Bologna Live Design 2025, the cultural event held in parallel with CERSAIE from September 22 to 26, Adrenalina presents in Palazzo Isolani with the project “Adrenalina Incontra Museo Omero e Istituto Cavazza” — a curatorial initiative now in its second edition, under the art direction of Debonademeo Studio and Valentina Bigiarini.

Presented for the first time during Milan Design Week, the project now arrives in Bologna — one of the cities where it first took shape — as a manifesto for a new vision of design: accessible, shared, multisensory, and centered on human perception and lived experience.

The outcome of this curatorial project, and the centerpiece of the installation at Palazzo Isolani, is Aedo: a sofa born from a co-design process with blind and visually impaired individuals, developed in collaboration with the Museo Tattile Statale Omero in Ancona and the Francesco Cavazza Institute for the Blind in Bologna.

The name Aedo recalls the ancient blind storytellers who passed on tales through voice and gesture. Like them, this sofa communicates without the need for sight: it tells the story of design through touch, with soft shapes, warm materials, and differentiated surfaces that guide the body in a sensitive, tactile exploration.
