What’s new in Adrenalina in 2020

Despite the lockdown which slowed down the whole Italian manufacturing industry and the cancellation of Milan’s 2020 Salone del Mobile, ADRENALINA, unrestrainable as it is, announces its second novelty for 2020: the collaboration with designers Debonademeo.

The first of the two series by Debonademeo to be presented is Hammock, an irregular armchair, both minimalist and rigorous. As its name suggests, Hammock is inspired by the hammock, the hanging cot, and mentions it through a supporting metal structure that enhances the clear geometries of the frame, which come into visual contrast with the softness of the seat.

Hammock can be either a conversation corner or a cocoon where you can relax and unwind. Hammock is not just an armchair, because by placing two mirrored armchairs side by side it is possible to create a two-seater sofa that guarantees the distance between the people occupying it.

Architect Luca De Bona and designer Dario De Meo met on the path between Milan and the Veneto region and began a partnership that draws inspiration from travelling to produce signs and designs that answer the needs of the contemporary habitat. In 2013 they founded the DEBONADEMEO studio in Padua and started to collaborate with prestigious furniture, lighting, decoration companies dealing with interior design, artistic direction, concept design and product development. Their micro and macro scale research reinterprets and merges various areas – architecture, design, graphics and art – to create innovative environments and objects that can always tell stories and induce emotions. Their projects, identifiable by the mixture of romantic evocations and industrial references, have appeared in numerous national and international interior design publications. Alongside their designing activity, they both teach in schools and universities.
